  • Grass-fed beef allows the animals to freely range and graze as they were designed to do. Grain-fed beef is usually confined to tight spaces in feedlots exposing them to unclean and unnatural conditions often leading to infections and disease. This is the leading cause for the high use of antibiotics and growth hormones in grain-fed beef. Grass-fed beef contains less total fat than grain-fed beef, while packing more omega-3 fatty acids and CLA, which are both linked to health benefits.

  • It's important to have enough freezer space.

    Generally plan on 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 30 lbs of beef.

    Quarter Beef Bundle, 135-150 lbs, 5 cu ft freezer space.

    Half Beef Bundle, 220-250 lbs, 8.5 cu ft freezer space.

    Whole Beef Bundle, up to 500 lbs, 16 cu ft freezer space

  • Cuts can be customized to your preference; for example, thickness of steaks, approximate size of roasts, blend of ground beef and more.

    Cut choices include filets, strip steaks, ribeye steaks, brisket, chuck roasts, arm roasts, chicken fried steak, fajita meat, round roasts, stew meat, flank steak, skirt steak, tri-tip, sirloin steak, rump roast, pikes peak roast, ribs, and ground beef. The offal (liver, tongue, heart, oxtail, and fat) are optional; only available upon your request. Additional cuts such as summer sausage, beef sticks, jerky, roasting marrow bones can also be ordered but will have additional processing fees.

  • If you would like to inquire about our grain-finished beef fed with organic feed, you can contact us at info@chastainranch.com.

  • A $400 deposit will be required to reserve your beef share. You will pay the balance of your share at time of processing based on $5.50 per pound of total live weight. This costs covers your beef share and basic processing fees.

  • Your share will be ready in March/April. We will contact you to schedule a convenient time for delivery. If you need additional time, please let us know.

  • For those in the OKC Metro area interested in delivery, we can arrange to have your beef delivered right to your door. It will have an additional cost of $250.

    You will be responsible to be present and prepared (with freezer ready) for your scheduled delivery appointment. Chastain Ranch will not be responsible for any thawing of meat due to missed appointments.

    You are also able to pick up your beef in Shawnee, OK for no additional cost.
